Looe is a Cornish fishing town situated in South East Cornwall. The town is popular with visitors due to its bustling harbour and safe sandy beach. East Looe is lined with independent cafes and shops. Over the bridge, West Looe is quieter and leads out to Hannafore with start of the coastal path to Polperro.

Looe offers a wide choice of local food and drink options from fine dining, pub grub and of course, fish and chips. There is a fantastic fish monger in town, offering the freshest fish, straight off the day boats in the harbour.

Only 25 miles from Plymouth, Looe is ideally located to explore the best of Cornwall and Devon.

South East Cornwall

South East Cornwall is well located to base your holiday. Being just over the border from Devon means less travelling time but just as much Cornish atmosphere as you require.

The coastline is dotted with fishing towns and villages, from Kingsands and Cawsands to the north of the area to Fowey and Polruan. There are a variety of beaches, from the vast Whitsands, to the small coves of Talland and Lansallos. Inland, we are blessed with rugged moorland and the mainline train travels through Saltash and Liskeard, onto Penzance.

Our local area has everything you need for a relaxing holiday, but if you wish explore further afield, many attractions are within an hour’s drive including the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
