A perfect cottage for families with three children or a group of friends, Offerd cottage has everything you need for a relaxing Cornish holiday. A little additional space is well used in the lounge and kitchen area with a pretty, private courtyard garden. The well equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washer dryer, fridge and separate freezer, ideal for any family. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one including a comfortable king size bed and the other with three single beds. There is a full size bath and an ‘over the bath’ power shower in the bathroom.

Is Offerd Cottage Dog Friendly?

Yes! We warmly welcome up to 2 dogs for £30 per dog per week. Do get in touch if you do have a third dog and we will see if we can accommodate. The cottage features a fenced enclosed garden, there is lawn and pathway directly outside the door with a sunny courtyard located up a few steps creating a lovely spot to relax. There is a countryside walk down to the river direct from the cottage and within a short drive there are numerous dog friendly beaches.

How many people does Offerd sleep?

Offerd Cottage sleeps up to five people in two bedrooms. The double bedroom features a kingsize bed with storage and the second bedroom has three single beds, no bunkbeds here. The configuration works well for families or groups of friends.

Is Offerd Cottage suitable for elderly guests or those with mobility issues?

Both the bedrooms and bathroom are up a straight flight of stairs, however the approach to the cottage is level apart from a thresehold step to enter the cottage. Do enquire is you require any specific information

Does Offerd Cottage have a parking space nearby?

Yes, there is an allocated parking space for the cottage right outside the cottage and you can park an additional car behind. Further free parking spaces are available but these cannot be guaranteed. If you have any questions or specific requirements, please feel free to contact us.

What is provided/included at Offerd Cottage?

We provide bedlinen and towels for each guests. There is a cleaning kit and tea towels are also provided. During cooler months (typically between September and May), there will also be logs, firelighters and matches provided. We offer the first basket free with subsequent logs available to purchase. You are also welcomed with fresh seasonal flowers and a home made Cornish Cream Tea.

How far is Offerd Cottage from Looe? Can I walk?

We are located less than 2 miles from Looe, approximately a 5-10 minute drive. Unfortunately, due to lack of pavement, we do not recommend walking into Looe along the A387. For keen walkers, there is a route via quiet lanes and Kilminorth Woods which takes approximately 2 hours.

Are there any walks direct from Offerd Cottage?

The entrance drive offers a peaceful countryside walk down to the lodge. The ponds and river attract a variety of wildlife, and with a little luck, you may even spot a kingfisher darting past.

How far is the nearest dog friendly beach?

There are several dog friendly beaches within a short drive, including Hannafore Beach in Looe which is approximately 3 miles away. Seaton Beach is another firm favourite only 15/20 minutes away.

Can we use the log fire in Offerd Cottage?

Yes, guests are welcome to use the open fire in Offerd cottage. During cooler months a complimentary basket of logs is included. Additional logs can be purchased.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel, please let us know in writing (email is fine). You’ll still be responsible for the cost of the booking, but if we’re able to re-let the cottage for some or all of your dates, we’ll refund what we receive, minus a £50 admin fee. If the cottage can’t be re-let, unfortunately we won’t be able to offer a refund. Please see our full terms and conditions for details.
