We are delighted to be re-opening on 4th July.
Here at Trenant, we always pride ourselves in the high standards of cleanliness we offer in our cottages, however, given the risks posed by the current Covid 19 pandemic, we wanted to update you prior to your visit on some new protocols and some easy to follow procedures while you are staying with us and upon departure.
Arrival & Departure Times
With increased times needed to clean and sanitise the properties, we would respectively request guests not to arrive until 5pm and vacate the property by 9.30am at the latest. This will allow us to prepare the property to the highest possible standard.
Unfortunately, we can only allow access to the cottages once we have completed our strict cleaning protocols which in the short term will be from 5pm. Apologies for this.
Contents in the Cottages
Considering the latest government guidance, we have been instructed to restrict the non-essential items in the cottages and single use items. Therefore, we will continue to supply the following and suggest you pack any other essentials you require.
Welcome pack including local biscuits, tea, coffee and 1 pint of milk
Washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets
Dish cloth, sponge and washing up brush
Hand soap provided at each sink
Two toilet rolls per bathroom
A cleaning kit including a multi-purpose spray disinfectant and disposable cloths
We remind guests to wash their hand regularly and to bring hand sanitiser where hand washing facilities are not available when you are out and about.
We have also had to remove books, information flyers, board games etc. from each of the cottages so if would be worth bringing your own.
Linen & Towels
We make the beds with professionally laundered linen and protectors. If you feel more comfortable bringing your own, do let us know and we will leave the beds unmade.
2 x tea towels and 1 x oven glove are provided
1 x bathmat and rubber mat per bathroom supplied
Holm Oak only – Personal towels (1 hand towel, 1 bath towel per person)
Please remember to pack personal towels if staying in other cottages
Each cottage is firstly cleaned to our high standards, then sanitized using approved cleaning products based on government guidance.
During your stay, we highly recommend you ensure touch points throughout the cottage are kept clean and disinfected. These include worktops, handles, switches, remote controls. We have provided suitable products to do this.
We would be grateful if you could take the following steps to help to ensure our changeovers can be carried out with increased diligence.
Please open the upstairs windows
Strip beds but leave protectors (these are changed separately)
Bag all bedlinen, tea towels and bathmats and place in linen bags provided at each property and leave in the bedroom. Please place any damp items into plastic bag supplied.
Ensure all rubbish including bedroom and bathroom bins are bagged and placed in the rubbish and recycling disposal area.
Leave the key in door upon departure
